NicoPhoenix Goes to School is the story of a trans girl's first day of school, her anxieties about discrimination, and the support she receives from her family, teacher, and friends. Its gentle storytelling, colourful illustrations, and thoughtful supplementary materials make it an affirming read for trans children, and an accessible introduction to their experiences for cis children.
